During the autumn of 2016, with funding secured, the samples will be acquired. Test results will be ready in the spring of 2017, and presented for donors. In addition, results will be implemented in a Master’s thesis due in the summer of 2017.
To acquire more information about the fallen soldiers of the Battle of Wisby, their equipment and the invasion of Gotland in 1361.
Each isotope test costs about 1 000 SEK. The examination requires some 30 samples. In addition, the items need to be transported. The transport will amount to approximately 20 000 SEK. All in all this equals approximately 50 000 SEK. Which is approximately €5600 with transfer costs included.
All economic contributions will be used for the analyses. The required work effort will be funded by a student loan provided by the CSN.
