Like you we love films communities and free culture (not like in free beer - free like in freedom of speach and paid for). We also love filmmakers, that's why we have created this campaign. All the money raised will go to the best CC films from the Film Program with the highest average of screenings (registered on the website) chosen by the audience.
Nordic Creative Commons Film Festival (NCCFF) is the first festival organized in the Nordic region for films created and distributed under CC licenses . During one week, Aug 30th - Sep 08th, NCCFF will bring together filmmakers and audiences in a participative and open atmosphere.
Selected CC films in different categories, from all over the world will be screened at official venues in several Nordic cities such as Stockholm (Sweden) and Aalborg (Denmark). In addition, a series of inspirational seminars will be held to open up a debate over alternatives ways of production, funding and distribution in the digital realm.
You can participate! become host or attend the different screenings! Please contact us if you need further information.
If you live in Stockholm join us for the sneak premier of the NCCFF and the Nordic premiere of "The Cosmonaut" a film made possible by the contribution of more than 5000 individuals. A transmedia project, crowdfunded and CC licensed superb Sci-Fi movie!

We are working on the development of the app to coordinate the different 'public-private' screenings whitin the Nordic CC Film Festival. Thanks to this app you will be able to create a film screening event wherever you want and make it public or private. If you want to attend a film screening event next to where you live, you can check if there is any via the app. It will be finished in summer, so... Stay tuned for more information!!!
